Praslin island

The Islander is a family-run small hotel, built on a property of more then 4,000sq metres of flat land at Anse Kerlan Beach, on the north-west coast of Praslin, one of the world’s most beautiful tropical islands.
Constructions erected during the year 1990 by the owners, Patrick and Miette Godley, starting with 2 bungalows. During the same year due to popular demand, a restaurant was built.  4 years later, another 2 bungalows with facilities for families and later another villa was added to the establishment.

During the year 2010, the Restaurant “Capricorn” under went a major renovation, which resulted in a bigger dining area with a complete new look.

Guests staying here can walk in the footsteps of Oliver Reed and the crew of “Castaway” which was filmed on Anse Kerlan beach in 1986.

The Islander offers comfortable relaxation in a holiday home of your choice, in self-contain Creole style bungalows, ranging from Standard, Superior and Family accommodation.   
Altogether, there are 4 bungalows comprising of 2 apartments each and a new villa on the side facing the bungalows.  All stand proudly amongst a well-tended lush gardens, filled with a riot of flowering shrubs. 
The hotel is regarded as a haven of tranquillity.
