FLY - DRIVE 

SLOVENIA - GREEN PEACE OF EUROPE, 7 DAYS 

DAY 1  ARRIVAL TO  LJUBLJANA AIRPORT – BLED (40 KM)

Arr. to Ljubljana. Take your car at Ljubljana airport. Drive to Bled, tourist center situated on shore of beatifull lake Bled. Check inn to your hotel. Day at leisure to adapt to time change. Overnight. 

DAY 2 BLED – BOHINJ VALLEY  – BLED (breakfast)

Abf. In the morning strol along lake Bled  (aproximately 20 minutes walk) to reach departure point of rowing boat (PLETNA) with rover, who will take you to the island in the middle of the lake to visit church. Later  return to shore and ascend hill above the lake and visit medieval castle. View from the castle is spectacular. Lunch in local restaurant at your own expence. Afer lunch you should try the best cream cake on the world – Blejska kremsnita. Since its origin they produced many milions and its recipe is still the mistery. In the afternoon you  drive to Bohinj valley (30 minutes drive). At the end of the valley you reach lake Bohinj the biggest lake in Slovenija which is surrounded with high mountains. The view is spectacular.  You should  visit the highest waterfall in Slovenia – Savica waterfall. From parking lot  walk (15 minutes) through alpine forest to view point from where waterfall is best seen.  Then  return to Bled. Overnight. (evening can be spent in casino)

DAY 3 BLED – POSTOJNA CAVE – KOPER – PORTOROŽ (130 km) (breakfast)

After breakfast drive through tipical slovenian countryside to Postojna where you visit one the biggest  most beatifull caves in Europe.  You enter cave with small train and then walk for about 70 minutes in the cave system which is full of stalagnites and stalactites. You will see underground river but the biggest atraction is human fish, animal which lives only in Postojna Cave. After visit drive short distance to Predjama Castle, which defends entrance to other cave, which is connected to Postojna cave. After photo session  have lunch in Postojna and the  continue drive to Slovenian cost. In about 1 houre drive  you reach Portoroz,, seaside resort. Check inn your hotel and then walk for about 20 minutes  along the cost to small  medieval city of Piran which is known for good fish restaurants. Have  seafood dinner in one of them. Then  return to your hotel. Overnight. (evening can be spent in casino)  

DAY 4  PORTOROŽ – LIPICA – SKOCJAN CAVES – LJUBLJANA (100 km) (breakfast)

After breakfast drive through Kras region to Lipca, which is famous as breeding ground of Lipicaner horses. They are black when they are born and small and later they change colour of skin to white. You can ride them if you want.  Then continue drive to near by Skocjan Caves which are part of Unesco World Heritage. Skocjan caves are smaller then Postojna cave but their beauty is unforgetable. After visit take motorway and in about 50 minutes you reach the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Tak lunch in one of the restaurants in old part of the city.  Then we suggest walking  in old part of city where you see Opera house, Cathedral, National museum and Three Bridges Square. Then ride funicular to Ljubljana Castle and see city from above.  Free time for shoping. Overnight.

DAY 5  LJUBLJANA – PTUJ (130 km) (breakfast, dinner)

After breakfast leave Ljubljana and turn east. You will  drive Trojane pass which is natural border between east and west part of Slovenia. After 90 minutes drive  you will arrive to the oldest city in Slovenia, Ptuj. Check in hotel which is also thermal spa. Before lunch visit old part of 2000 years old city. You should not miss visit to medieval castle which is verry well preserved. View from the castle on the city and countryside is superb. Take lunch in restaurant Ribic (Fisherman) which is famous for fish food. After lunch  visit vine cellar where you will sample 3 different vines (We will reserve time of visit as cellar is always full).  Ptuj is also center of excellent vine production. Late afternoon and evening is free for pampering in healthy thermal water. Dinner in hotel.

DAY 6  PTUJ  – MARIBOR – LJUBLJANA (130 km) (breakfast)

Breakfast. Morning will be free for for relaxation in the pools. Afternoon  drive back to Ljubljana. On the way we stop in second largest city in Slovenia, Maribor. After visiting old part, which is situated along riverbank and seeing the oldest vine (more then 400 years old), which still produce grapes continue drive to Ljubljana. Late afernoon will be free for shoping.

DAY 7 LJUBLJANA – AIRPORT (breakast) 

After breakast you drop your car  at Ljubljana airport and fly to China.
