El Bosque Club de Golf has a magnificent location in Valencia. Opened in 1975, it was designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr., reknown designer of some of the best golf courses.
The location of the course at the foot of a mountain distinguishes undoubtedly the touch Robert Trent Jones Snr. used to bring to life the Club de Golf El Bosque. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, the prestigious designer took advantage of the location in order to add beauty and movement to the 18 freeways of the course.
Beside, he was able to combine perfectly the sloping freeways with water obstacles and 90 sand traps. Bunkers estrategically positioned at the end of the freeway and surrounding the entrance of each green. The greens are extremely fast and demanding and are on ground level.
Thus, with par 72 and 6.249 metres from professional tees, the Club de Golf El Bosque is considered an ideal field for top level competitions. A technical route in which the right choice of the club will be essential if we want to obtain a good result.
